An entire mood.
There’s something special about the way a single colour can shape an entire mood. When I first pictured a monochrome portrait session in soft sage green, I wasn’t just thinking about the aesthetic. I was thinking about how a space can influence the way a woman feels in front of the camera.
Calm. Present. Intentional.

This was one of the first creative concepts I brought to life inside Elodie Studio. Natural light, muted tones, layered textures, and a completely tonal palette that feels refined without being loud. Sage is one of those colours that sits quietly in the background but still carries so much softness and depth. It was the perfect foundation for this shoot.

Shealeah was the ideal person to bring this concept to life. Her eyes, her energy, her gentle confidence, everything aligned beautifully with the tone of this set.
That’s part of why I created Elodie Studio. I wanted a space where women could step in and feel held. I wanted portrait sessions that weren’t only about the final image but about the experience of being photographed with intention. Creative sessions like this become more than just creative work for me. They become a reminder that we all deserve moments where we feel seen in a way that feels true.
The monochrome palette let the focus stay exactly where it needed to be: on her. The quiet texture of the curtains. The way the satin dress caught the light. The softness of her posture. Nothing competing. Everything working together.

Editorial, feminine, minimal, and deeply expressive.
I’m excited to keep exploring concepts like this inside the studio. This is the direction I want to grow in. Creative. Elevated. Portraits with depth and intention. And if you’ve been wanting a session that feels like this — something artful, something personal — Elodie Studio is ready.
