There’s something so special about love that travels across distance. These two came to Newfoundland from different corners of the world before beginning their life together, and they wanted to capture this season of their story in a place that felt unique and true to them.


Quidi Vidi, with its charm and coastal beauty, was the perfect backdrop. Tucked just outside of St. John’s, the village carries both history and character—colourful stages along the water, fishing boats resting in the harbour, and rugged rocks that meet the Atlantic waves. We wanted to weave all of that into their session: a mix of soft, playful portraits in the village and quiet, intimate moments by the ocean..

They shared laughs along the wharf, playful spins and hand-holding against the pastel houses, and a few tender pauses where the scenery felt like it wrapped right around them. Later, we moved to the rocks where the waves crashed with force and energy, reminding us of the raw and untamed beauty that defines this coastline. Side by side, they looked out over the Atlantic, leaning into one another with so much ease and connection.
